Rachel is a qualified and experienced early years specialist teacher with training from the Institute of Education, London and 18 years teaching experience in private school settings. She has senior leadership experience as well as leadership in pastoral and wellbeing areas of primary curriculum and extensive CPD.
After years of disillusionment in mental health awareness and support within schools, and since becoming a mother, Rachel is building Huggle Hub from a personal childminding career solution through Tiney, into a provider of specialist educational and wellness services to better support both children and parents, especially in the most vital early years.

Rachel runs a small nursery from her own home under the name Huggle Tiney Home Nursery. Partnering with the childminding agency Tiney, she aims to provide consistently Outstanding educational and emotional care for children in the most important developmental stages of their lives. Rachel purposefully keeps her home nursery small to allow for individualised care based on genuine and consistent relationships and attachment. A term time only setting, with a true home from home family environment. Rachel believes the learning happens through security, belonging, interaction, relationships, emotional resilience and happy days. The crew will explore life through real world experiences, nature and seasons while trusting child led play to guide each day with story telling and music throughout. If you are looking for childcare and this resonates, please contact Rachel below.

Rachel's EYFS consultancy services are tailored for early years settings, nurseries, and child-minders. She provides expert guidance on compliance and quality standards, alongside her own educational wellness services, to enhance your practice. Partner with Rachel to ensure your setting delivers exceptional early childhood education while also offering the best environment for wellbeing and emotional development support.

Rachel offers unique therapeutic support grounded in Jungian and attachment theory during half-hour sessions in blocks of 12. These wellness services can be provided in various locations, including schools, Huggle Hub, or the child's home. This approach is designed for children seeking emotional support as they process difficult emotions in a safe space through drawing and indirect discussion. Additionally, this work supports all areas of mental health for all ages, making it a valuable resource and open to all who are interested in exploring safe and supported emotional processing.
